The main tradition of this religion is The Church Of Satan. It is very important to take notice that the Satan they recognize has few points, if any of similarity to the Christian concept of Satan. The Satanist's concept of Satan is pre-Christian, and derived from the Pagan image of power, virility, sexuality and sensuality. Their Satan has nothing to do with Hell, demons, pitchforks, sadistic torture, buying people's souls, performing miracles, human sacrifices and other profoundly evil deeds.

Anton LaVey is the High Priest of The Church Of Satan and publisher of the Satanic Bible. The reason many represent this religion proudly is because Modern (LaVey) Satanism is very free and boundless. There is no god to worship. There is no need to attend church. You are your own god. LaVey's Modern Satanism is based on self gratification, mostly. Or masturbation of the soul, as I once read. Also, constant self improvements that are brought about by a rational thought process.

Satanic Dabbler
By far, the most annoying and most over-used method of Satanism. It's followers blend elements copied from religious Satanism, ceremonial Magic, Wiccan, and other neopagan traditions, goddess worship, various Occult traditions, and any other useful source of rituals the followers may find. It is most commonly found among rebellious teenagers and young adults, generally for a short time. Some look upon Satanism as a method of rebelling against their parents' beliefs. It is usually a passing fad that they quickly outgrow. Satanic Dabblers have no connection with Religious Satanism
i know this may be controversial im not a satanist i would just like you to know that you should not choose the wrong satanism and get mixed up in something that may screw you for the rest of your life and i think that you should only join satanism if you want to im bored and dont know alot about what im dealing withso yea i didnt write this even if i tried ok i dont know who did but i would like to meet them

oh well and i didnt write this i got it off some quiz web site my 14 year old girl neighbour got me to go to and you know how impossible to decipher those websites are it took me about 5 minutes on this one because i am trained in cracking 12 year old girl code HMMMM... maybe i should become a luinguist
